During a recent class with Boston College’s Lynch Leader Fellows, we conducted Together Tours as ways to show off our Together Tools from the summer, and no joke, the chat LIT UP when Sam Harrison, an assistant principal at Academy of the Pacific Rim Public Charter School, showed us her School Leader Hub. Below is a little snippet if you want to join our fan club (and you can see other one-stop shop examples here and here!).

This looks like an incredible tool and Sam was kind enough to hop on a call with me to share how and why she put it together. Sam said she created this document because, in her first year as an AP last year, she realized she had a bunch of links she was constantly re-opening, tons of open tabs on her computer (side note: who’s got their tab managers?!), and emails she was checking for resources to send her teachers. This obviously takes lots of minutes each day, so over the summer, Sam created a her own personal leadership hub. She said it took about two hours of good couch time to dig through email and find her most frequently needed items, but the amount of time she is saving this year is well worth it. Bonus points that it is aesthetically pleasing!
And if you want to hear more, here is a video of Sam and I talking about her process!

Okay, talk to me. How are you managing all of your digital items these days?
